Car bomb targets Somalia Parliament

A car laden with explosives was detonated at the entrance of the Somali Parliament in Mogadishu killing at least five people, police say.

Islamist militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility.

On May, Al-Shabaab launched a suicide and gunfire attack on Parliament which killed more than 15.

Since the start of the holy month of Ramadan, the militants carried out dozen assassinations in the capital which mainly targeted  government officials & soldiers.

Last week, the militants claimed responsibility of killing veteran Somali member of Parliament , Mohamuud Mohammed Hayd in Mogadishu.
