Two Somali businessmen were on Monday night gunned down by unknown bandits in the south African city of Capetown.

The two were at their business site in the predominantly-Somali village of Elsis in Capetown when a car aboard by armed bandits started firing at them.

“The bandits started shooting at us and two of our friends died on the spot instantly,m and the bandits escaped from the site immediately,” Zakariye Ali told Africa Newsroom by phone from Capetown.

Somalis in South Africa are always harmed by some jobless and gang South Africans who see them as exploiting and benefiting from the country’s Economy.
