Turkey allows Iraqi-Kurds to cross into Syria border to fight IS

Turkish foreign minister, Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday said that the Turkish government will allow Iraqi Kurds fighters to cross into Syria border in order to fight with the Islamic State in Kobane.

He didn’t give further details but added that negotiations are going on regarding the issue.

Turkey didn’t allow Iraqi – Kurdish fighters to cross into Syria border before but this latest announcement will likely boost and greatly impact the fight against ISIS in the besieged Syrian town of Kobane in which hundreds of Thousands of people fled in weeks of clashes.
