6 killed in Explosion in Somali capital

At least Six people were killed in the Somali capital of Mogadishu after an IED fitted in a Somali Government troop’s vehicle exploded. Four of the Six killed were soldiers.

The IED attack which happened at around 5PM in the district of Hodan resulted in a huge blast which also wounded 4 passer-bys.

Somali militant group, Al-Shabaab is thought to be behind the attack but didn’t claim it officially so far.
